1.) Five Paragraph Essay

identifiable hook, thesis statement, preview all in the introduction

should be a little over a page (when it is all said and done)

2.) Annotated Bibliography

credible secondary sources

full citations for each one (in MLA)

100-150 words under each of the three entries

should be about a page

3.) Research paper

follows the same format as #1 above

follows the same topic as #2 above

needs to have 3 in-text citations. One for each body paragraph in the essay.

needs to have a works cited at the end of the paper

should be about a page and 1/2 or more.

4.) Resume

has to be job specific

has to be one page

5.) Cover letter

has to be job specific

has to be one page

6.) Descriptive essay

between 2-3 pages in length

be descriptive, detail oriented… scenes not summary

consider dialogue

7.) In-Class essay final exam

this is your final… no you don’t need to study for it.
